The Isle of Rum General Store

The Isle of Rum Shop and Post Office is small but very well stocked with a wide range of groceries: bread, veg, biscuits, pot noodle, beers, wines and spirits and some frozen meat. You can find it next to the Village Hall.

If your planning to visit Rum as part of a large group, groceries, fruit, veg and meat can be pre-ordered, but please let us know at least THREE WEEKS in advance so we can organise your order. Please phone the shop during opening hours. Tel: 01687 460328
Opening hours are generally 5-7.30, Post Office hours and quite possibly other times too.

Craft shop

The Rum Craft Co-operative is open most afternoons or by request for a wide range of local hand-made original arts and crafts. You can find us on the front road by the red phone box.
Individual wooden furniture, crafted from timber sourced on Rum also made by local designer. Ask for further details at the craft shop.

 

 

 

 

Tea shop

The tea-shop is currently undergoing the refit of a new kitchen and facilities. Though not quite finished you can still get refreshments.
